Custom Chalkboard

What you need to make your own:
• Frame (3' x 2')
• 3/16" PVC board
• chalkboard paint
• high density foam roller
• sign materials: vinyl, masking material squeegee, computer, design software and a plotter. (or go to a sign shop)
• Twine
• wooden clothespins
• tac nails
• wall anchors and screws
• chalk

I was lucky enough to find this awesome frame at a thrift shop for $15.
I then rolled 2 coats of chalkboard paint on to a piece of 3/16 PVC board i had with a high density foam roller. (Let it dry for 3 or more days)
I designed, cut and installed the custom  vinyl graphics to the dry board.
I then tacked the board to the frame and hung it on the wall.
I personally think it turned out great! It is located in our kitchen.

Spaghetti & hot dogs

So weird I had to try it for myself!  Just poke uncooked pasta into hot dogs (not frozen) & boil until cooked. I topped with red tomato sauce.  It was a hit!

Organize your rewards cards!

I am always digging in my wallet for my credit cards or my drivers license only to always pull out my rewards cards first ...

Resolution: Punch a hole on all your reward cards (make sure not to punch a scanner or bar code) and put all your cards on one key ring to save wallet space. Carry ring in your purse!!

Crayon on Canvas

You will need: Per one masterpiece: 12"x16" Canvas, Box of 64 Crayons, Glue Gun & Glue Sticks, Heat gun.

Glue the crayons in the arrangement you like. Have someone hold back of canvas on a tilt. Heat to desired result from left to right, but from center of crayon & down on the canvas. (If you start from the top the crayon will melt up like a volcano... avoid- not a good look)

For a more lasting piece, heat wax even on the canvas without thick drips at the bottom because it will crack after time.
